What is Gluten Allergy?

Gluten allergy is caused by the structural deterioration of the villus protrusions in the small intestines and by the inability of the foods to digest properly. This results in damage to the small intestine and an allergic effect that is life-time active against proteins called gluten in the later period. For diagnosis, a biopsy is needed to remove the small intestine. Once diagnosed, patients must consume gluten-free foods. These patients have to make gluten-free diets for life. Even if the surface of the intestine is corrected at the end of the diet, problems arise again when the diet is left. The time to healing of the intestinal damage may vary according to the severity of the injury, the age of the individual, and other factors. For many years gluten allergy may have progressed, causing severe damage to the intestines without symptoms. For this reason, the gluten-free diet should never be left. This is the only way to get treatment.

If the gluten-containing foods are consumed, the foods do not mix with the blood because they are not fully digested. For this reason, people become weak and weak. It also suffers damage to organs.
